Contech Research, Inc. is an independent and extensive test / research laboratory recognized world-wide for the sevices we offer. The company was founded in 1981 with Max Peel as it’s President and Director of Advanced Research. Max, to this day, plays a key role in the continuing development of the company in his new position of Senior Fellow.

In 1981 the company, which occupied some 3,000 ft² initially concentrated in baseline connector evaluations but soon developed into associated areas of testing.

Today the company fully utilizes over 14,000 ft² and is one of the largest independent testing laboratories, specializing in interconnection and related products, in the world. Testing services offered include, but are not limited to:

• Environmental

• Mixed Flowing Gas

• Electrical Characterization

• Mechanical

In 2004 Tom Peel took over the role of President and Director of Test Program Development having a thorough indoctrination into all aspects of testing.

The company employs 23 professionals who take pride on the quality of our customer base, which includes the majority of the major electronics corporations.
