I’m
pleased to announce an important milestone in the history of Contech
Research – one that will strengthen our ability to provide
the highest quality independent testing and product evaluation services.
In September 2008 The
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) began publishing new
accreditation procedures for children's products and established a
time line for compliance.
On January 13th 2009 Contech Research received accreditation to perform the following CPSC testing:
16 C.R.F. Parts 1501 (small parts)
1508 (full size baby cribs)
1509 (non full size baby cribs)
1510
(rattles)
1511 (pacifiers)
As new products are published in the coming year we shall continue to add said procedures to our scope of services.
Baby bouncers, Walker and
jumpers shall be added in March and any new requirements listed in
the CPSC Children's Product Safety Rules shall be added when published
in June.
Be assured that the
overall operations of our company have remained unchanged. Contech
Research is committed to maintaining the exceptionally high standards
that test sponsors have come to expect since the company was founded
over a quarter century ago. We look forward to continuing to serve as
a valuable technological and research resource for your organization in
the months and years to come.
If you have any
questions or require further clarification, please feel free to contact
me.
Best
Regards,
