PURPOSE:

To determine the mechanical and electrical integrity of connectors for use with electronic equipment when subjected to shocks such as those expected from handling, transportation, etc.

Typical waveforms generated with our equipment are:

1. Half-sine
   
2. Sawtooth
   
3. Trapazodial

Contech Research also has the resources and experience to design and build custom “fixtures” that would be used to secure the samples to the Mechanical Shock table.
